Remarks
This Fairey Spear is a unique opportunity to purchase one of these craft.  Being hull number 413, she is towards the end of the purchasing programme and so having all the manufacturing refinements that production brings.

The current owner purchased her in 2008 and she has been ashore in his yard every since, a small amount of refurbishment occurred, but the project was never completed.

The Fairey spear can be converted back into a Spearfish, as the Spear is just a modified Spearfish.    The Wheelhouse GRP top, can be easily removed and a screen substituted. Gordon Currey has converted a number of Spears, which being MK3, have all the later additions, making fine Domestic Spearfish.

The engines in her are Ford Sabre Dover model, which when running are higher horsepower, than earlier engines, so give a good turn of speed.

Owing to the fact she has been ashore since 2008, prospective purchasers should make all the necessary inspections.   The previous owner used her successfully as a RYA instructional craft for powerboat certificates.
